About Victory & Thrive
Victory & Thrive provides supportive, evidence-informed psychology tutoring and research support for students who want to build confidence, strengthen their understanding and feel more in control of their studies.
I’m Yasmin Lavictoire, a psychology graduate, MRes Psychological Methods student and incoming PhD researcher. I have experience in psychological research, academic writing, statistics, research methods and supporting students to make sense of complex ideas in a clear, encouraging way.
My approach is warm, structured and student-centred. Sessions are designed to help students understand the material, develop confidence and learn how to apply their knowledge effectively.
Support Options
GCSE Psychology
Support with key concepts, psychological terminology, exam preparation, revision planning and confidence with written answers.
A-Level Psychology
Help with topic understanding, evaluation skills, research methods, essay planning, exam technique and revision strategies.
Undergraduate Psychology Support
Guidance with academic writing, assignment structure, dissertation planning and responding to feedback. Constructive feedback can also be provided on drafts, reports and dissertation sections to help improve clarity, flow and academic style.
Research & Statistics Support
Support with understanding research design, choosing appropriate statistical tests, SPSS/R basics, interpreting outputs and writing up findings clearly.
How Sessions Work
Sessions are delivered online and tailored to the student’s goals, level and confidence.Before the first session, I’ll ask what support is needed so that each session has a clear focus. Students can bring topics, questions, draft work, data outputs, revision materials or assignment guidance.Sessions may focus on understanding course content, preparing for exams, developing research skills, improving academic writing or working through specific dissertation and statistics challenges.
Academic Integrity
Victory & Thrive provides guidance, feedback and skills-based academic support. I do not write assignments, dissertations or assessed work on behalf of students.The aim is to help students develop their own understanding, confidence and academic skills.
Pricing
All sessions are delivered online and tailored to the student’s level, goals and confidence. Support is available for GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate psychology students, including research methods, statistics, academic writing and dissertation support.
GCSE Psychology
£30 per hour
Support with key concepts, psychological terminology, revision planning, exam preparation and confidence with written answers.
A-Level Psychology
£35 per hour

Undergraduate Psychology Support
£40 per hour

4-Session Support Pack
£130
Session packs are available for students who would like more structured ongoing support. Ideal for dissertation planning, assignment development, research methods support or ongoing exam preparation.Sessions are payable in advance.
Free Introductory Call
A short introductory call is available to discuss what support is needed, whether Victory & Thrive is the right fit, and how sessions could be structured.
Payment & Cancellation
Sessions are payable in advance to confirm the booking.A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or rearrange a session. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may still be charged.
